As you will know the Conservative run (dominated) council is going through a process of cutting services and funding for things such as maintenance of the market and street cleansing have been serverly cut.

I will however, raise the issue of cleaning of the market area and see what I can find out. I am copying this reply to my colleague Cllr. Mike Moore who is the ward councillor for Hemel Central, which includes the market.
